The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, and the Trustees of The Archbishop of York Youth Trust are pleased to announce that Dan Finn will be the new Director of the Youth Trust from 1st August 2013. Dan had previously been working as the Young Leaders Award Coordinator at the Youth Trust.

Dan joined the Archbishop of York Youth Trust in June 2011, since then he has focused on creating and developing the Young Leaders Award, writing the majority of the material for the Key Stage 2, 3, and 4 programmes. He also worked closely with Manor CE Academy developing the material for the KS3 and 4 Awards, and has witnessed first-hand the impact that the programme has had on the lives of staff, students and the school as a whole.

Prior to his arrival at the Youth Trust, Dan worked as the Executive Officer of the York Schools and Youth Trust (YoYo) – a York based Christian youth and schools charity – offering assemblies, club and RE lessons in primary and secondary schools, and supporting church based youth and children’s workers across the city.

Dan Finn said:

The Youth Trust has an inspirational goal, to empower young people across the North of England to ‘be the change they want to see’.
