Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but they are the leaders today.
Young people are at the forefront of challenging perceptions, combatting the climate crisis, standing up against racism and supporting their local communities where there has been most need. We have an opportunity to not only learn from young people, but to help amplify their voices, so they are put at the heart of rebuilding our communities.
Over the past year, we have been so encouraged and inspired by the stories of young people continually taking the initiative, standing in the gap, and serving some of the most vulnerable and isolated in our communities.
Our work develops children and young people’s leadership, character, and faith, and provides an essential and creative space for discussions, learning and action, that help to build foundations for later life.
We believe that by giving children and young people the opportunity to put their character, leadership, and faith into action, they will thrive in their school setting, at home and in their community.
Our work has become even more important due to the pandemic, which saw a significant rise in mental health issues in children and young people, as we help to re-build young people’s confidence and wellbeing.
By empowering young people to speak up and out about the issues of concern to them, and to know how they can take action, we let young people know their opinion matters. We are passionate about supporting young people to be the best versions of themselves that they can be, so they can transform society.
We long to see character education as more than just an added bonus to the curriculum.
We long to educate the whole child.
We long to make the world a better place for everyone.
Help us to empower young people to be the change they want to see.
