Students from All Saints Church of England Academy, Ingleby Barwick, have been helping to make a difference in their local community by helping at their local Tesco to collect food for the Trussell Trust foodbank. Over two days, one hundred Year 8 students helped to collect and pack donations for food parcels, which will provide individuals and families, who are struggling financially over the Christmas season, with emergency food packs. Students took part in the project as part of the KS3 Young Leaders Award, having identified this as an important need in their local community.  

They have taken action to make a difference and a great time was had by both staff and students, as shown in the photos. Well done to all involved- a fantastic achievement!
