Lent 2025- Living Hope
We’re excited to help pupils to stop, pause and reflect on what it means to have and be a living hope.
In the Bible Jesus says ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’. John 14:6. For Christians this message is a key part of the Easter story, that Jesus came to Earth to bring hope and to offer people a new way of living life and coming closer to God.
Living Hope will take pupils on a journey through Lent reflecting on Jesus’ ministry and his message of hope for all people.
Each week there is:
- Liturgical suggestions
- Bible passage activity
- Video exploration
- Practical and prayerful actions
- Prayer
- Additional ideas for connecting home, church and school
Alongside this collective worship resource, the Church of England have produced a daily reflections booklet for adults (CHP) and a daily challenge booklet for children and families (CHP). Find out more here: Living Hope
